This happened a few weeks ago, and I always forgot to put it up here. It's just a slightly funny story I'd like to share.
A few weeks ago, my 10th grade Bio class went to a zoo for a trip. It was a treat from our Bio teacher, as we were currently learning taxonomy. Naturally, I wandered off with my friends. We were the only high school class there, and there were a lot of younger kids/families visiting that day.
While we observed some otters, we came across a fundie family. It was a mom, dad, and their young kids. It's a rare to see fundies around our area, as we live in the inner city (the zoo is a mile or two outside). I'm guessing they were on vacation?
One of the boys in my group is a little um...how should I say this...insanely weird? Well, he always likes getting laughs out of people in the most inappropriate way. It so happened I was standing with him and a friend right next to the little fundie family. Two of the otters began wrestling in the water. So, he called out "OTTER SEX!" The fundie mom looked our way, with a slight look of shock on her face.
Then, my other friend pointed out "I think they're both guy otters." And of course, the other boy replies with "GAY OTTER SEX!"
At that point, the fundie mom looked at her husband and motioned to walk away. And they did. After we walked away from the otter exhibit, I saw them returning. And I think I saw the mother look at us to make sure we weren't coming back.
I thought it was amusing. Although I feel a bit sorry for the fundie kids, especially if that was their first experience from the "real world". That kid could've scarred them, lol.
