I don't feel sorry for them in the least. Well, I feel sorry for the kids, but not the adults. They are the ones that decided to put their family in this situation. Why doesn't the husband get a job? There's no reason he can't go to school part time and work full time. A lot of people do that. My father did that. Sure, it takes you longer to get through school, but on the other hand, at least your kids are fed. And if he's just going to school, why can't she get a job and work an off shift when he's home? Again, it may not be what you want to do, but sometimes in life you have to do things you hate. That's just life.

I also hate it when people insist that God will take care of them. That's bulls**t. God does not take care of anyone (the images out of Africa should be enough to prove that). He gives people the ability to take care of themselves and expects them to do so. Both Carrie and her husband have the ability to get a job. It's their fault if they choose not to. Why should God be expected to do all the hard work? I really wouldn't care if it were just them. They're adults and it's their decision if they want to live in poverty. But, what they're doing to their children is unfair and irresponsible. I can't believe they are bringing two more kids into the mess. If they were good parents, they would think of their children first and what is in their best interest. I've got half a mind to call social services and report them (since I live in Indiana, this is entirely possible). People like this irk me. I know they'll start drawing welfare (if they haven't already) and expect that their children's sweet little faces will entice people to donate money to them. Why should I be responsible for paying for their children? I didn't decide to bring kids I couldn't afford into this world.
